Robin Roberts needs a dress for the 82nd Academy Awards, and five graduates from Parsons the New School of Design have been chosen to compete to outfit the red carpet reporter. The designers have five days to construct their designs to be revealed on "Good Morning America", where Roberts will choose her favorite to wear to the Academy Awards on March 7th.
Samantha Sleeper's design is a fresh asymmetrical meridian blue silk dress with draping and flare. The color will POP on camera for Robin, and will be a great dramatic piece for the Oscars.
"Since she is working the event I wanted to give her a dress that wasn't cumbersome, something that is easy to move in. Half of feeling beautiful is feeling comfortable," Sleeper said.
