Sex and the City 2 shopping at SHE

Sex and the City 2 is finally out and our four favorite fashionistas are looking better than ever! The New York women dawn many different looks, but still stay true to their own individual styles, the styles that we have come to know and love about them. Inspired by the movie's release, Team SHE has handpicked a look for each of the women that we feel they would pick out themselves if shopping with us. Imagine Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha shopping for a signature look while talking about cosmopolitans and the men in their lives.

Carrie Bradshaw is the quintessential New York fashion icon, and her outfits and styles have inspired many women all over the world. She experiments with different trends and classics, and always adds a personal touch to every outfit. Team SHE loves Carrie's appreciation for fashion and willingness to try new things. For Carrie, Team SHE chose this playful Nuj Novakhett Piddock Skirt in Green with a basic Haute Hippie Po Boy Rib Tank in white. To complete the outfit Carrie would add a fun necklace and a pair of her beloved shoes, although she never plays favorites. The white tank complements the skirt by letting it be in the spotlight. This outfit would show off Carrie's amazing body and range in style.

Miranda's style is influenced by her two jobs in life, being a partner at a firm and being a mom. Miranda is constantly seen in bold and fun prints that show that she is courageous enough to try new things. As the series and movies have evolved, so has Miranda's style. In the movie Miranda has begun to turn her sometimes thrown together outfits into sleeker and more elegant pieces. Team SHE has picked this Black Halo Kimberly Mini dress in Gold to emphasize Miranda's preexisting powerful style mixed with her new chic attitude.

Samantha is the character who always wows viewers with fun and sexy outfits that show off her perfect body. Her style incorporates a lot of fun prints, like Roberto Cavalli's, while still sticking to the classic little black dress, but always throwing in a fun new twist of her own. We love Samantha's take on the sexy power outfit, so Team SHE  selected this sultry Alice + Olivia high waisted seamed pencil skirt with snake skin panels. To play up Samantha's vixen attitude we paired the skirt with this Simone snakeskin top, and completed the look with this sophisticated Halston Heritage large collar jacket. 

Charlotte's warm and caring personality shows in her tailored outfits and sweet color pallet. Her style tends to be more conservative, while still experimenting with a mix between classic and contemporary trends.  While Charlotte is battling with the stresses of becoming a new mom we give her credit for refusing to give up her Audrey Hepburn inspired style. Team SHE paired this Erin Fetherston pegnoir blouse with this chic Black Halo high waisted pencil skirt. This outfit exemplifies Charlotte's persistent style as she strives to be the perfect mother.
