Viva Vena! by Vena Cava

Sophie Buhai and Lisa Mayock met at 17 right before they began studying at Parsons. After being rejected from showing their collections at Parson's senior show, the pair decided to branch off on their own. In 2003, Vena Cava was born from a twelve look collection, sewn on the floor of their Brooklyn apartment. Clients such as Blake Lively, Rachel Bilson, and Maggie Gyllenhaal swear by the up-and-coming line, which has also reached into the lingerie and footwear market.

Fall 2010 brought another project to Vena Cava's already growing line, Viva Vena! The diffusion Viva Vena! line is a collection of more basic pieces with the same design aesthetic and inspiration that draws the uptown and downtown gals towards Vena Cava.
